How To Make Your Fragrance Last the Day
Share
Have you ever worn a fragrance that just doesn’t seem to last the day? Here are a few tips on getting greater durability out of your scents.
- Look for fragrances labelled Parfum and Eau de Parfum. These fragrances have the highest concentration the oils that make up a fragrance and last longer than an Eau de Toilette or Eau de Cologne
- apply fragrance to your pulse points such as wrists, neck, behind the knees, and inner elbows. These are locations where your body is naturally warmer which creates a gentle warming that subtly realeases more scent
- apply your fragrances to slightly damp and moisturised skin.
- If available for your favourite fragrance, consider using a body lotion containing same scent.
- add a spritz to your clothing (but be sure to test your fragrance in an unseen place, such as an inner hem, to avoid possible staining)
- Store fragrances in a cool, dark location to ensure you’re getting the best shelf life for your scents
- Carry a travel size bottle with you and reapply if need be.
